Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with our sales, procurement, and leadership teams to review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements — including SaaS, software licensing, services, NDAs, and partnerships.
- Support cross-border deals and ensure we’re always aligned with global compliance, data protection laws, and best practices.
- Take the lead on building and refining contract playbooks, policies, templates, and legal operations infrastructure as we scale.
- Manage legal aspects of vendor onboarding, corporate documentation, and internal approvals, including signatory workflows.
- Oversee ESOP program administration and help streamline internal equity-related processes.
- Drive strategic legal initiatives and support ongoing cross-functional projects as needed.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- LL.B. from a recognized academic institution; LL.M. – an advantage.
- 3+ years of legal experience in commercial and corporate law from a top tier Law Firm.
- Strong background in SaaS agreements and data protection laws (GDPR/CCPA).
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients or companies .
- Business mindset with a strong understanding of legal and commercial risk.
- Fluent English at a native or near-native professional level — written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to zoom out and see the big picture.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills — you're the kind of legal partner people want to work with.
Bonus Points For
- 2+ years in-house (preferably in tech/startups).
