OX Supplementary AI Terms
Last updated: September 30, 2025
These AI Terms supplement your existing agreement(s) with OX Security (including any Master Services Agreement). By using any AI-powered features within the OX Security platform, you agree as follows:
Definitions
“AI Features” means functionalities within the OX Security platform that use artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies to process Customer Data and generate automated outputs, such as responses, recommendations, or analyses.
“Input” means Customer Data you provide for use with the AI Features.
“Output” means the results generated and returned by the AI Features based on the Input.
“AI Content” means Input and Output collectively.
1. Nature of the AI Features
1.1 The AI Features are integrated into the Platform and generate responses using machine learning models. Such responses are not created by humans and may at times be inaccurate, incomplete, duplicative, or otherwise unsuitable for your environment.
1.2 You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all Output before relying on it.
2. Third-Party Providers
2.1 To provide the AI Features, OX Security uses trusted third-party providers (“AI Subprocessors”). These subprocessors process Input solely for the purpose of generating Output and are contractually restricted from using Input to train their foundation models.
A current list of AI Subprocessors is maintained on our Trust Center.
2.2 From time to time, OX Security may replace or supplement these AI Subprocessors with other reputable providers that meet our security and compliance standards.
2.3 You acknowledge that your use of the AI Features must not cause OX Security or its AI Subprocessors to be in violation of their applicable acceptable use policies, as updated from time to time.
3. Data Use
3.1 All Inputs are used only to generate Outputs for you. OX Security may use aggregated or anonymized data derived from Inputs to improve its platform and services, but not in a way that identifies you or your organization.
3.2 OX Security applies commercially reasonable safeguards to reduce risks such as bias, harmful content, or misuse.
3.3 As between you and OX Security, you retain ownership of your input, subject to OX Security’s rights to use aggregated and anonymized data for service improvement.
4. Output Characteristics
4.1 Output may not be unique, and similar responses may be generated for multiple customers.
4.2 Output must not be relied upon as the sole basis for security, compliance, or regulatory decisions, and requires appropriate human review and validation.
4.3 You may not use Output to train, build, or improve any machine learning or artificial intelligence models that compete with OX Security or its AI Subprocessors.
5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
5.1 AI Features and Outputs are provided “as is,” and “as available.”
5.2 OX Security disclaims all warranties (express, implied, or statutory), including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5.3 You are responsible for how you choose to use AI Features and any decisions made in reliance on Output.
5.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, OX Security shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from your use of or reliance on Output.
5.5 The obligations of Sections 3 through 6 shall survive termination of these AI Terms or your use of the AI Features.
6. Restrictions
You agree not to use AI Features (or Output) to:
6.1 Violate any applicable law or third-party rights,
6.2 Generate or disseminate harmful, unlawful, or misleading content,
6.3 Attempt to reverse engineer or replicate the AI models or underlying technology (except as permitted by law), or
6.4 Use Output in a manner inconsistent with applicable documentation or guidelines.
6.5 OX Security may suspend access to AI Features in cases of suspected misuse or security risk.
7. Updates
OX Security may update or discontinue AI Features at its discretion. We may also update these AI Terms from time to time by posting an updated version. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
8. Conflict & Supremacy
In the event of any conflict between these AI Terms and your base agreement (including any Master Services Agreement), these AI Terms shall govern with respect to the AI Features, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
